School Library-Mudimadagu

In line with JM Trust philisophy of direct Donor Recipient interaction, on 15th of December 2023 Sri Mysore Pratap and Smt. Prema Pratap along with Sri Madhava Prabhu Managing Trustee of JM Trust and Ms.Manjula CR Facilitator of Trust visited Government Higher Primary School, Mudimadagu with intention to deliver library. The Library package from JM Trust consists of IKEA rack, kannada story books and some English story books, general knowledge books etc.,

This time around Donors were kind enough to give 100 Kannada story books and JM Trust added another 40 English books. In the course of time we shall add more books as and when children start using these books.

Sri Mysore Pratap gave a talk on the need to work hard, study well and even if they go abroad they must serve the country, their own village and their parents as well. They should never forget their village and country.

Smt Prema Pratap gave a talk on how to do Namaste as prescribed in Hindu Vedas and how to recite Gayathri Mantra the correct way. Many people may know the Mantra but to build the positive energy in the body and mind how important it is to recite Mantra in the correct way. To be studious and alert in the class and the house Smt Prema Pratap taught the children some simple tips and asked the children to practice it atleast 3 times a day like once as soon as they get up from the bed, then evening once they go home and lastly before going to bed. Both Mysore Pratap and Prema Pratap originally from Karnataka but currently American (USA) citizens. When we approached them and briefed them about the school and the library project they readily agreed to visit the school and personally interact with the children to encourage them to study well and serve the country at a later date when they grow up. They also agreed to donate the library without and hesitation.
